Estimatics Manager


Job Summary

The Estimatics Manager is responsible for driving consistency, accuracy, and excellence in the estimating process across the company. This role partners closely with Estimators, Repair Managers, and leadership to review estimate quality, identify missed opportunities or potential concerns, support insurance compliance, and help ensure repair plans are complete, accurate, and aligned with company standards. The Estimatics Manager also plays a key role in training and developing new and existing Estimators to strengthen performance and create a consistent customer and repair experience across all locations.


Key Responsibilities

· Review estimates for accuracy, completeness, consistency, and alignment with company standards.

· Identify missed repair operations, documentation gaps, missed revenue opportunities, and potential insurance red flags.

· Provide feedback, coaching, and guidance to Estimators to improve estimate quality and performance.

· Help standardize estimating practices across all company locations.

· Train new Estimators on company processes, estimating expectations, documentation standards, and repair planning best practices.

· Support ongoing development of existing Estimators through coaching, quality reviews, and process reinforcement.

· Partner with Repair Managers, Estimators, and leadership to resolve estimate-related questions or concerns.

· Monitor estimate quality trends and recommend process improvements.

· Help ensure estimates are properly documented with photos, notes, repair procedures, and supporting information.

· Support compliance with insurance partner requirements, company procedures, safety guidelines, and industry standards.

· Serve as a subject matter expert and resource for estimating best practices.

· Perform additional duties as assigned.


Required Qualifications

· High school diploma or equivalent.

· Minimum 8 years of experience working in the automotive industry.

· Minimum 5 years writing estimates within an auto collision repair shop.

· Legal authorization to work in the U.S.


Preferred Qualifications

· Preferred Bachelors degree in Business or related field.

· Ability to speak Spanish a plus.


Core Competencies / Skills

· Advanced knowledge of collision repair estimating, repair planning, insurance requirements, and industry standards.

· Strong ability to review estimates for accuracy, completeness, documentation, missed operations, and potential compliance concerns.

· Excellent attention to detail with a strong focus on quality, consistency, and continuous improvement.

· Ability to coach, train, and develop Estimators with clear feedback and practical guidance.

· Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain expectations, concerns, and recommendations clearly.

· Ability to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities to improve estimating performance across locations.

· Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

· Ability to influence others, drive standardization, and support accountability in a professional and collaborative way.

· Proficiency with estimating software, repair management systems, email, and Microsoft Office.


Working Hours

· This role is full-time in office Monday through Friday with start and stop times to be determined by manager.


Physical Requirements

· Ability to sit, stand, walk, and use standard office equipment throughout the workday.

· Ability to occasionally lift or move vehicle parts, boxes, or supplies up to 35 pounds.


Compensation & Benefits

· This is a salaried, exempt position and is not eligible for overtime pay.

· Eligible employees may elect to participate in Company-sponsored medical, dental, and vision benefit plans, subject to plan terms and eligibility requirements.

· The Company offers a 401(k) retirement savings plan with an employer matching contribution, in accordance with plan provisions.
