Expert Auto Body Repair Near You: Get Your Vehicle Back to New

A collision is never convenient. One minute you're running errands, the next you're standing in a parking lot looking at a crumpled bumper and wondering who to call. When you start searching for a body shop nearby, you're not just looking for someone to smooth out the metal. You want a shop that will put your car back exactly the way the manufacturer built it, so it's as safe on the road as it was the day you bought it.

That's the part a lot of people don't realize until they're in it. Even a low-speed fender bender can throw off a sensor, bend a frame rail a few millimeters, or compromise a crumple zone you can't see. Fix the cosmetics without addressing what's underneath and the car looks fine, but it won't protect you the way it should in the next accident.

At Unique Auto Body, we've spent decades doing this the right way for drivers across the Wasatch Front. We'll tell you straight what your vehicle needs, keep you updated instead of leaving you guessing, and hand it back looking and driving like it did before the wreck. From the first estimate to the day you pick it up, the goal is simple: make a stressful situation a lot less stressful.

The Repairs We Handle

Our shops are set up to take on just about any exterior damage, on any make or model. We service everything from daily commuters to trucks that pull double duty on I-15 and up the canyons, and we're certified by more than 20 manufacturers, including Tesla, Rivian, Ford, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Toyota, Honda, and Subaru. Our team also handles the insurance side of things directly, so you're not stuck playing middleman between us and your carrier.

Here's the range of work we do most often:

Collision repair. Fender benders, rear-enders, and heavier structural damage all come through our doors. Every repair follows manufacturer specifications, which matters more than most people think once advanced driver-assist systems and high-strength steel are involved.

Dents and dings. When the paint is still intact, paintless dent repair (PDR) is usually the fastest, most affordable route. We work the metal back into shape from behind the panel, no sanding or repainting required. Deeper dents get the traditional treatment.

Scratches and paint. Utah's a rough place on a paint job between winter road salt, gravel, and the occasional hailstorm. Our refinish techs use computerized color matching to blend repairs into your factory finish, then seal it with a durable clear coat.

Bumpers. Scuffed, cracked, or hanging off after an impact, bumpers don't always need to be replaced. When a repair will hold up, we'll do that instead and save you the cost of a new part.

Frame straightening. The frame is what everything else bolts to, and if it's off, nothing else lines up right. We use hydraulic frame racks and computerized measuring systems to pull it back to factory tolerances.

What the Process Actually Looks Like

Nobody likes dropping their car off and hearing nothing for a week. We keep it transparent from the start.

It begins with a free estimate. We inspect the damage, walk you through what we find, and give you a written breakdown of the repairs and costs before anything gets started. From there, we coordinate directly with your insurance company. We handle the claim, talk through the repair plan with your adjuster, and push for the approvals needed to fix the car properly rather than cutting corners to hit a number.

Once the plan is set, our certified technicians get to work using manufacturer-approved parts and procedures. Every job goes through a multi-point inspection before we'll call it finished, checking panel gaps, paint match, and the systems that don't show up in photos, like sensors and electronics. Then we clean it up, give you a call, and walk you through everything that was done when you come to get it.

Why Drivers Trust Us

Reputation in this business is earned one repair at a time, and we've been building ours across the valley for years. A few things set us apart:

  • Real certifications, not just claims. Our technicians are I-CAR Gold Class certified, the industry's top training standard, and we hold manufacturer certifications for more than 20 brands, from Tesla and Rivian to Ford, Honda, and BMW.

  • We work with your insurance. We're a Direct Repair Program partner with 11 major carriers, including Progressive, State Farm, USAA, Allstate, GEICO, and Farmers, which streamlines the whole claim. That said, you're never required to use a DRP shop. We accept every insurance provider.

  • Limited lifetime warranty. We stand behind our workmanship and refinishing for as long as you own the vehicle.

  • The right equipment. Computerized paint matching and laser-guided frame measurement aren't optional extras for us. They're how you get a repair that actually holds up.

  • Seven locations. With shops from West Jordan down to Lindon, there's almost always one on your way.

Questions We Hear a Lot

How long will my repair take? It depends on the damage, parts availability, and how quickly insurance signs off. A small dent might be a day or two; a major collision can run a few weeks. We'll give you a realistic timeframe once we've assessed the car, and we won't leave you wondering.

Do you work with all insurance companies? Yes. You have the legal right to pick your own repair shop, no matter what your insurer suggests, and we'll coordinate the claim and billing directly with any carrier.

Will my car look like it did before? That's the whole point. Between computer-matched paint and careful blending, the repaired area should be impossible to spot next to the original finish.

Is there a warranty? Yes, a limited lifetime warranty on our workmanship and refinishing for as long as the vehicle is yours.

Can you help with a rental? We can. We work with local rental agencies to keep you on the road while your car is with us. Our Saratoga Springs location even has Enterprise Rent-A-Car on-site.
